Elvis Trivia!!

Post by naynay » Sat Feb 28, 2004 1:54 am

Hi everyone. Let's play Elvis Trivia. I have an enormous collection of Elvis facts and fun, so if this proves to be a "goody" then I can post more. This one is only 10 questions and sort of a trial game. I thought it might be fun to have a marathon, if you will, of Elvis trivia where contestants score and total points. Say each question is worth so many points, and whomever has the most points at the end of the "Elvis session" wins a prize.

What do you think about that Mauveduh? Can Stressbank supply the prize...perhaps? If not, I'll find some 'white elephant gift around my place!! (hee) Let's see how it goes with this first game!

1. Elvis was born in what city and state?

2. Elvis had a stillborn twin named?
a. Jesse
b. Aaron
c. Austin

3. What were the names of Elvis’ parents?

4. Elvis’ first televised performance took place on March 5, 1955 in what
city?

a. Shreveport
b. Houston
c. Memphis

5. In the same year (1955) which future star shared the bill with Elvis in
Texas?

a. Roy Orbison
b. Buddy Holly
c. Waylon Jennings

6. Name the Elvis ex-girlfriend who is now married to Olympic star
Bruce Jennings.

7. Elvis was devastated when Priscilla left him. Name the man she
left him for and his occupation.

8. Elvis had more consecutive No. 1 hits than anyone.
True or False

9. In which song did Elvis say, “I’d cry around the clock”?

10. Young Elvis attended which church?

a. Assembly of God
b. Presbyterian
c. Southern Baptist

LOL, until I saw that quiz, I thought I knew a lot about Elvis! But maybe I wasn't that much of a fan after all, although I still like only a few of his songs. Same goes for other celebrities such as Elton John and the Beatles.

okay come on friends! You can at least guess on the true or false and multiple choice questions!! Don't forget a stressbank prize is in order!
(right Mauveduh?)

Okay, if you have not a thing to do...you can always do a little research. Doesn't anyone know #1 or #2? Sorry if it seems hard; you know how easy things look when you have the answers in front of you!

I promise the next one will be much easier. Beleive me I have some really basic type questions, most all should know.

Okay birthday..go ahead...if you think you can do it! Hula baby Rock!
