are these still unanswered?

Post by naynay » Wed Dec 10, 2003 12:46 am

I tried to answer the ones that I knew off the top of my head last night, but computer was not cooperating.
I still have the one I knew, or well at least I think I knew.

I could do some research, but i don't really want to. I also can't stand it when you know the answer, but you can't remember so it bugs you to death. I don't really want to do that either. So tell me how I have done so far? (well, not percentage wise, as I only answered a few, but right or wrong.
1. Old black hat
7. Stairs (guess)
12. Dancer, Dancer, Donner
14. 6 geese a laying
19. Clara (sounded right)
22. 9 pipers piping
42. I'll be back again someday
47. nine
51. 12 days of Christmas? (makes sense to me)
75. White Christmas (I'm dreaming of)
84. bells
88. Bing or Burl Ives?
93. Silver Bells
94. Rock around
96. Blue Christmas
103. Dasher
105. It was written during the Civil War. The writer's wife had died and he couldn't go on etc. Then he heard the bells ringing and out came this song. Probably not what your looking for in essence, but I heard the story at church and it was so sad, but he found comfort in the bells and his faith, so it ended up sort of uplifting. TMI..?
